In this podcast I will share information regarding overthinking and ways that we can learn to try to control it. I will share my experience, and I want to hear from my listeners and their experiences. Overthinking can be a negative, yet also a positive thing, and I want to explore both sides of the coin and learn more from each other.

I have always considered myself someone who overthinks way too much. At one of my jobs we used to meet in this back house behind our office building, and every time as we approached it, the cat in the trash can would start scattering and going everywhere. My boss told me the cats remind him of me, my mind has all of these cats scattering all over the place. The cats were my thoughts, and he was right, and that’s really when I begin to realize how much I do overthink things.
I slowly started seeing how many people would mention how they overthink, even celebrities would mention it in interviews or on a show. That’s when I decided I wanted to do something to help those that overthink and eventually it began to affect their mental health. I want to raise awareness and eventually do things to raise money that we as a whole (me and my listeners) can raise money to donate to charities that support mental health.
